Spirit Week

School is in full-swing. Our students demonstrated their school spirit the week of Sept. 24 – 28. They participated in themed Dress-Down Days, decorated the hallways in a chosen theme such as Wizard of Oz and Harry Potter, with many staying after school to dress the halls in streamers, theme-related artifacts, photos, cotton webbing, and life-size balloons. However, it wasn’t all fun and games. The Siena Serves and Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) committee organized several events to assist those who are less fortunate than us. Our students collected food, drink, and clothing for The Center for Youth, and bread, peanut butter and jelly for the Open Door Mission. Students will visit the Open Door Mission to work int he PB&J Factory and will also deliver the additional items to The Center for Youth. Students also participated in Jar Wars as to collect money for a local charity. Our students care for others and strive to help those in need.
