Siena Catholic Academy seeks a full-time, certified Grade 7 and 8 English/Language Arts teacher for the 2018 – 2019 school year. We hire knowledgeable and creative teachers with a passion for fostering student potential, an ability to craft exploratory lessons that are interdisciplinary in nature, and proficiency in instructional technology. The successful candidate will be demonstrate an ability to introduce NYS ELA standards seamlessly into engaging lessons and assessments.

Part-time Middle School French Teacher

Siena Catholic Academy seeks a part-time, NYS certified French Language teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. We hire knowledgeable and creative teachers with a passion for fostering student potential, an ability to craft exploratory lessons, and proficiency in instructional technology. Our French teacher will have one section each of seventh and eighth grade French. The two sections will meet daily between 10:27 and 12:34 most days, and anywhere from 9:54 and 12:49 on Fridays depending on the assembly schedule we follow on a given day. In the second quarter of the year (approximately November through January) the French teacher will teach two additional sections of an Introduction to French Culture and Language course to sixth graders.

STEM Teacher

Siena Catholic Academy seeks a full-time STEM teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The position requires a strong background in middle school science, especially earth and space science, and mathematics and familiarity with the Next Generation Science Standards. We hire knowledgeable and creative teachers with a passion for fostering student potential, an ability to craft exploratory lessons that are interdisciplinary in nature, and proficiency in instructional technology. The ideal candidate is a Google Certified Educator and has implemented Project-Based Learning in the classroom.

Science Teacher
Siena Catholic Academy seeks a full-time science teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The position
requires a strong background in middle school science, especially Living Environment/Biology, and
familiarity with the Next Generation Science Standards. We hire knowledgeable and creative teachers with a
passion for fostering student potential, an ability to craft exploratory lessons that are interdisciplinary in
nature, and proficiency in instructional technology. The ideal candidate is a Google Certified Educator and
has implemented Project-Based Learning in the classroom.
