St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship
Our Siena community awards the St. Catherine of Siena Scholarships to two sixth graders and one newly-registered seventh grader. The scholarships are sponsored by the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC).
The award recognizes students of exemplary scholarship and character who have been in the Catholic school system for at least three years. The recipients of this scholarship will each receive a four hundred dollar tuition reduction for their years at Siena.
In a well-composed and grammatically correct essay, the candidate must discuss the meaning of the Siena Catholic Mission Statement and how he or she will seek to live up to it. Strong essays use specific examples from the student’s experience and envisioned future. The essay must be typed, double-spaced in Times New Roman or similar font. Most essays will be in the 250 word range.
The essay is only one piece of the award process. Click on this link: St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship 2020-2021 Brochure Application materials are due on April 29th, the Feast Day of St. Catherine of Siena. Only registered families may apply.
