Athletics

Welcome to Siena Catholic Academy athletics and extracurricular activities. We are proud of our strong student participation in all sports at Siena. Our athletic program promotes the development of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and physical attributes.

Our program fosters a sense of self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation, and fair play by approaching competition as a healthy and constructive exercise. Siena’s athletic program is primarily a league based competitive program.

Section V sports: In order to meet the needs of the many students involved in extracurricular athletics we offer a two-fold approach with participation in both the Section V Private/Parochial modified sports league and the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) league.

Our sixth graders can participate in our club sports program.  We offer the following coeducational sports clubs: cross country, soccer, skiing and snowboarding, basketball, track, softball, and golf.  Regulations prohibit sixth graders from participating in Section V sports and Siena from supporting sixth grade CYO teams.

Our athletic program at Siena enhances our academic excellence by building character.

A major goal of the Siena athletic program is to encourage participation of as many students as possible and in so doing develop their lifelong skills and values.
